At BOOBIE*, we recognize that every mother is a working mother, whether she's navigating a bustling office, managing a household, or pursuing her passions. The journey of motherhood is a labor of love that deserves appreciation, recognition, and support. Our era now recognizes that raising a child, managing a household, and pursuing personal growth are all forms of work that demand time, effort, and dedication. By embracing the idea that every mother is a working mother, we break down barriers that once limited our understanding of women's roles and help empower every mother as a “supermom.” Here’s how to help nourish you and your baby, no matter what motherhood looks like for you as a single mother, work from home mother, full time office mother or stay at home mother.
Opt for Flexible Work Solutions
Workplace flexibility is no longer a luxury; it's a necessity. Recognizing that every mother's journey is unique, employers must adopt flexible work arrangements that accommodate various responsibilities. Discuss remote work options, flexible hours, and job-sharing opportunities if you are a mother who wants more space for professional duties while being present for your family.
Create Community Support
Our communities play a pivotal role in providing support. Seeking out safe spaces where mothers can share experiences, seek advice, and offer encouragement fosters a sense of belonging- whether you are in or out of the workplace. Local parenting groups, online forums, and mentorship from mothers in other seasons of life can help bridge the gap between mothers from all walks of life, and can help provide support for the season of life you are in.
Seek Out Childcare
Quality childcare is a cornerstone of maternal empowerment- no matter what type of work you do in or out of the home. In order to truly thrive as mothers, support and respite is essential. For work outside of the home you can seek out child care centers, nannies and nanny shares or au pairs. For full time work from home mothers and single mothers, look for community resources such as churches, community centers, community parent groups on social media and neighbors, can be a great resource to help find local support.
Prioritize Self-Care
When we recognize that "every mother is a working mother" we can emphasize the importance of self-care. As mothers often prioritize the needs of their families above their own- burnout, resentment and frustration can run rampant. Finding your self-care rituals such as exercise, meeting with a friend for coffee or a meal, and pursuing hobbies can help you recharge and show up more fully when around your family.
Every mother is a working mother, investing boundless energy, dedication, and love into nurturing their families and pursuing their aspirations. Together, we create a more inclusive and supportive world where every mother is uplifted, recognized, and empowered to thrive in her role as “supermom.” Our entire line of products here at BOOBIE* is designed to help empower you at every stage of motherhood to help you, the real life superhero.
